It’s hard not to want you. I long for you too much, it hurts. But ignorance is my new best friend. I’m better off with it than with you.

I never really go to auto repair shops, first of all, I don’t have a car. Second of all, I really have no business going to one. LOL. But I have a friend who owns one and he invited me over to his shop one day. I saw a lot at once, car lifts, air compressors and various auto shop equipment all lying around. Of course, my friend gave me a mini tour and explained to me the function of each. I admit, I found it interesting and for car fanatics, this should all be fun. I like looking at car models, but I’m not really into the parts and all that. Haha. But I enjoyed the tour of my friend’s shop. Maybe when I have a car in the future, I’ll learn more.

I’ve always loved the country. I am a city gal, but once in a while, I love hanging out in the woods in a cottage, just away from the hustle bustle of the city. I once visited a small cottage in the woods, the minute I entered I was greeted with such a lovely sight. There were pots hanging on the walls, a beautiful fireplace, wooden chairs and rustic bedding, it was really full of charm and character. That’s what I like about rustic decor and old furniture. They are charming and magnetic all on their own.

My friend who lives in Austin, Texas just called me via Skype the other day. It’s been a while since we caught up with each other’s lives. At one point, she was showing me her allergies. There were red patches in her arms and legs. She told me she went to an austin allergist already, and she was on the process of healing. Her red arms kind of reminded me of my own allergies before. These things are really troublesome and itchy. At least we still get to update each other even with the not-so-good stuff. Video calling really is great, don’t you think?

I gained a lot of weight in the past 6 months! I couldn’t really help myself, I’m so in love with food! I mean, they’re everywhere, how could you resist or ignore them? Even the best appetite suppressants wouldn’t be enough to curb my appetite. I think food is one of the best pleasures in life. I love trying all kinds of new dishes, as long as they’re not raw or exotic. Haha. I just wish I can eat all I want without getting fat.

So my friend has just gotten herself a new job, a new office, and a new desk to boot! One day, we were talking about getting her new name plates. One for her desk and one on her door. She wanted to get it nicely done with just the right design that she has in mind. She wanted to start everything at her new job perfectly, and it all starts on the name plate. LOL. I know, she’s really psyched about it. We’ve been tossing around a few designs from a few companies but she hasn’t decided on anything yet. Once she decides, her new job can start. Haha.

I was browsing around this new computer/media store in our mall, looking for something I could buy. I saw some monster hdmi cables and a wide array of hard disks and ipads. I also saw some colorful usb hard drives and laptops of all sizes! There were also some complicated stuff for home entertainment. Actually, they do have a lot to offer. And their prices are quite affordable. I decided to buy a DVD writer and a laptop bag. Yippee!
