Get Back In Shape

Posted by angel on Feb-18-2010

I need to get back to the gym soon! I stopped working out at the end of last year, and I feel the weight creeping back. I need to hit the treadmill and lose some pounds again. I wish I had exercise equipment at home so I don’t have go to the gym. Just thinking about it, makes me want to curl in my bed instead. I had this routine before that whenever I use an exercise equipment, I would either be in front of the TV, have my ipod on, or have a book with me that I could read. Exercising can be very boring, and if you don’t find ways to keep yourself (or your mind) occupied, then you won’t really have the motivation to stick to your exercise plan. I’m sure regulars at the gym know what I’m trying to say here. I gotta get back in shape!

Buying Your Own House

Posted by angel on Feb-7-2010

Buying a house is not easy, especially if you don’t have the money to pay for the mortgage and other expenses that go along with it. You can’t just build a house, just like that. I’ve always wanted to apply for a housing loan so I could build my own house. It’s always been my dream. After all, it’s one of the basic necessities in life, right? To have a roof over your head and and a shelter to take refuge in. I know it’s hard to have to deal with the expenses that comes along with having your own house, but it’s well worth it in the long run. At least it’s yours, right? And you won’t have to pay rent, like you do for apartments. So if you can, go get your own house now!

3D vs 2D

Posted by angel on Feb-5-2010

I loved Avatar, the movie! Did you guys watch it? I watched it in the theaters for like 3 times! That’s how much I loved it! I loved the storyline, the effects, the whole package! The first time, I watched it in 3D. It was my first time watching a 3D movie in the cinema, and to tell you the truth, I didn’t enjoy it that much. I got a headache halfway through. But it’s still cool. The second time was in 2D. It’s pretty much the same thing actually. I would imagine it’s not the same if you watch it in led tvs at home compared to if you watch it in the IMAX Theaters, but the 2D and 3D, with regards to Avatar, there’s not really much of a difference actually. Maybe if it’s a different movie, it would be more pronounced, but with this movie, it wasn’t. But nevertheless, I enjoyed it so much! I recommend it to anyone!

Memory Upgrade

Posted by angel on Feb-3-2010

My laptop is running sloooow this days. It’s frustrating. One simple command could take around 5 minutes to complete! I love my laptop, it’s been with me for years and not any real problems have occurred. But I guess it’s time to increase the RAM and buy memory upgrade so that it will run faster. I already bought an external hard drive, but it’s not nearly enough to fix the speed problem. I know I should defrag my internal hard drives, but it’s just too much of a hassle for me. I think I’m going to look around the computer stores to see which memory will work well with my laptop. I miss those days when I am surfing and working away in a breeze. It’s either I will upgrade my memory, or just reformat the whole thing. I think I’ll do the former.

Life Protection

Okay, so an agent offered me this life insurance policy to invest in. And I haven’t decided yet whether to give it a shot or not. At this point in my life, I’m thinking about important stuff, and since we’re not getting any younger… you get to think of what’s REALLY important in life. You guys probably can relate to what I’m talking about here. If you’re thrust into the real world, and you have to do everything you can to survive, then you think about these things. Even though sometimes, I tend to procrastinate, I know I’d have to deal with this sooner or later. Right now, I’m still procrastinating about insurance, but when I finally decide to do it, then I have to be sure that I’m taking the right one. What do you guys think? Any advice?
