Trendy Clothes

Posted by angel on Nov-17-2011

I love shopping for new clothes. Mostly, I just go to those places where they sell trendy clothes at cheap prices. I’m not the type who would go for big brands. I look at the style and quality not the name. If you could buy a really cute piece which looks good on you at a cheap price, why do you have to shell out hundreds of bucks, right? But of course, practicality isn’t for everyone. A lot of people have their own reasons for buying branded things. As for me, I love all the clothes I buy. I’m not a trendsetter when it comes to fashion, but I do know where to get my stuff.

A Game

Posted by angel on Nov-17-2011

We had this ice breaker game in our last high school reunion. We were each given a “thing” to talk about. I’m talking about random things like: coat, mask, pad paper, industrial rubber hose, backyard swing, refrigerator magnet… those sort of things. As for me, I got the rubber hose, and I had a hard time thinking of how to talk about it. We were given 1 minute to say anything, and I guess I only used up the 30seconds. Haha. I’m really poor at games.

Skin Protect

Posted by angel on Nov-16-2011

Lately, I’ve been experiencing itchiness all over my body. I can’t help but scratch them so I get all these blotches and marks that are ugly. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong actually. I try to drink lots of water because it’s good for the skin. But why am I still having these skin problems. Dryness is also another problem I have aside from itchiness. I read about some home remedies and how to protect the skin. I heard olive oil is really good for the skin. I’m going to try this product called olivella which is made of 100% Virgin Olive Oil from Italy. I really gotta take care of my skin more.

Is There Something?

Posted by angel on Nov-11-2011

Another one of my favorites from Christopher Cross!

I’m going crazy, acting like there’s nothing wrong, I can taste the truth every time we kiss…. is there something that you want to tell me? Is there something that I ought to know? Are we something that’s still worth fighting for, or should I simply let you go?

Sleep Deprived

Posted by angel on Nov-10-2011

I’m so sleep deprived these days! I can’t sleep well because there’s this construction going on in the top floor of our building. There’s pounding of walls, there’s crunching like the sound of truck tire chains clinking and grinding, it interferes with my sleep! I guess I need to buy ear plugs or something so I can get enough rest and sleep. I can’t really complain to the owner of the building so I’d just have to endure it all. I wish I could just check in to a hotel every night so I can have peace. LOL.

Cashiering

Posted by angel on Nov-9-2011

I used to pretend to be a cashier when I was a kid. I don’t really know why, I guess there’s something appealing with handling the cashier system. At least I thought so. Now that I’m all grown up, and I actually have the chance to use POS Hardware, I’m kinda scared. Because I have to deal with complicated buttons, and if I make a mistake, I will have to pay with my own money. I look at my other friends, and I see how confident they are at the POS. Now I realized that cashiering really isn’t for me. Hehe.

Partnership Rings

Posted by angel on Nov-8-2011

I was at the mall the other day and I saw a store which sells rings. I was actually looking to buy a ring for casual use so I decided to browse around inside and I saw this sign that said “titanium partnership rings“. I asked the friendly lady at the counter what they were. She said they’re wedding rings. I laughed to myself, I didn’t even know they were called like that. So I just quietly exited the store a little bit embarrassed. Oh well, at least I learned something new today.

In The Office

Posted by angel on Nov-7-2011

Working in the office can be quite dull and boring and I’m sure a lot of people can relate to what I’m saying, right? If your job requires you to sit behind a desk or a computer the whole day, just standing occasionally to attend meetings or go to conference calls, well then I guess you can relate to what I’m saying. But anyway, to avoid this, you really gotta enjoy your job. There’s no option. If you enjoy your job, it doesn’t have to be boring, right?
