Steamboat Buffet

Posted by angel on Sep-29-2011

Have you guys ever experience going on a steamboat? It’s not a boat that you ride on, mind you, it’s actually a buffet style type of eating where there’s a steaming hot pot placed at the center of the table and you help yourself to all kinds of seafood from prawns, squids, crabs, scallops, etc. You choose from a wide variety of seafood items and you cook them on the pot then eat to your heart’s content. I like it, but I prefer if they also have an electric grill or something for people to cook barbecue on because I love grilled seafood.

Counter Tops

Posted by angel on Sep-28-2011

I accompanied a friend of mine on a shopping trip. We went shopping for a kitchen counter top. There were all kinds of counter tops in the store we went to that it was so hard to choose. Being the good friend that I am, I offered a suggestion. I told her to go for the granite top. She asked why. I said it’s because granite tops are great for stainless steel undermount sinks. It would be easy to install one on this kind of top. Undermount sinks are great in my opinion, both aesthetically, and in terms of functionality. And being the good friend that she is, she followed my advice. Hehe.

ECG Machines

Posted by angel on Sep-27-2011

I’m really quite amazed with all the medical technology in the world today. Let’s take for instance, ecg machines. These things can measure the electrical activity of the heart.  This is especially useful to diagnose various heart conditions. I salute the inventors of this machine, because of their brilliance, many people are now being treated more efficiently for their heart problems. I have no idea how they came up with such a fascinating machine but I sure am impressed!

Shallow Hal

Posted by angel on Sep-26-2011

Have you seen the movie Shallow Hal, the one starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Black? It’s about a very shallow guy, named Hal, who meets this woman in a store and sees her checking out stuff in the lingerie plus size. She was checking out a very huge pair of undies. Actually, she’s really fat, but because of some hypnosis hocus pocus that some guy did on Hal, he sees her as super slim. It’s a movie that would really make you laugh. And the actors did a great job acting out their parts. It’s a movie I would recommend for those who haven’t seen it yet.

Futuristic World

Posted by angel on Sep-26-2011

I had a really strange dream last night. I was transported into a futuristic dream world. There were cars flying around in the air, I saw a steel building towering over me, robots were strolling along the streets… I was like in the movie “The Fifth Element”. It was pretty cool actually. But the funny thing is that I didn’t even realize I was dreaming. Usually, when my dream is this bizarre, I somehow know that I’m dreaming and I get to control my dream. But this time I didn’t. Such a pity, I could have had so much fun in that world.

Horseback Riding

Posted by angel on Sep-25-2011

The other day, I went out of town for an activity that I did for the very first time in my life. Guess what I did? Horseback riding, y’all! I was so nervous and excited at the same time. I’ve always wanted to try it but I just haven’t had the chance. Now that there’s an opportunity for me to do it, I didn’t let it pass, I grabbed it. I had so much fun! After the initial nervousness upon mounting the horse, I enjoyed the ride and the lesson. And oh, I was also cute in my equestrian riding apparel that I took a lot of pictures. One thing I know for sure, that was not the last time I’m riding a horse.

Diamonds

Posted by angel on Sep-25-2011

They say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Actually, I have never touched, much less own, a diamond in my entire life. I mean, yes I’ve seen diamond rings and necklaces in stores at the mall, but I’ve never come to a point where I would really go in and browse or try to hold the jewelry. I guess at the back of my mind, I’m thinking that these things are so precious and expensive that I might drop one and I’d have to pay for it. Haha. Just kidding. Hopefully one day, someone would drop on one knee and give me one (daydreaming mode). LOL.
