Amazing Buildings

angel on Mar-6-2012

I was browsing through this architectural magazine this morning, and I was fascinated with the different kinds of buildings featured in it. There were fabulously designed buildings, with unique styles and one of a kind architecture. There were also steel buildings featured, as well as glass buildings, and wooden buildings. I’m actually at awe with all these amazing works of man, and I can’t even count how many times I said “wow”. I salute all the architects out there working hard to provide the world with beautiful buildings.

Fun In The Playground

angel on Mar-4-2012

I was babysitting for my cousin’s kids last weekend for one day. I really enjoy spending time with kids. These 2 in particular, one is 6 years old, and the younger one is 5 years old. They are a boisterous pair, but they are like little angels in my eyes. I took them to the park for the day and we spent an afternoon playing. They particularly enjoyed the playground equipment slides and the seesaw. They were screaming with delight and the joy is evident in their little faces. I love spending time with kids, they bring out the kid in me. Sometimes, we need to see the world in kids’ eyes, even for just an afternoon. We had fun!

Swisher Sweets

angel on Mar-3-2012

My friend just can’t get enough of those small cigars made in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born and raised in Florida, so that makes sense right? If asked what his all time favorite cigars are, he’ll definitely say swisher sweet cigars. According to him, he likes them cause they’re very mild, and they leave a sweet, satisfying aftertaste. He would go on and on and rave about how it has a unique blend of flavors and whatnot. Only a cigar lover can fill you in on the intricacies of cigars, but I actually like listening to him talk animatedly. You  know, that energy that people talking about things they love give off that’s really quite entertaining. Oh and personally, I kinda like the word Swisher. Just sayin’. :P

VLC Player

angel on Mar-2-2012

Last night, I was editing the sets of video footage that I took when I was on vacation. I made them so the sequences flow nicely, it took me about 2 hours to get the whole thing right. Sometimes, when I’m doing something like this, I’d get completely engrossed in my work that I’m not even aware how much time passes by. When I’m done with the finished product, I convert it to avi and play it back using my vlc player. When it comes to good quality video playback, a vlc media player download is all you need.

Sexy Lingerie

angel on Feb-29-2012

Do you guys like to wear sexy lingerie? I know I do. I have a whole collection of lingerie that I like to wear from time to time. I don’t really wear them every night, just when I’m in the mood or I need to feel sexy. Normally, I just wear pajamas to bed. But sometimes, we need to treat ourselves with really nice lingerie because I find that it boosts self esteem. I don’t know about you ladies, but that’s what it’s like for me. I like the cotton variety, but I also like the lacy ones and those made of silk. It really comes down to preference. What do you like?

Picnic In The Park

angel on Feb-28-2012

We went to this nice park last weekend to have a little picnic. I was with my old friends and we had a lot of catching up to do. It’s one of those lazy Sunday afternoons where we just ate and drank and chatted until the sun went down. When we arrived there, the park was buzzing with people. There were kids flying kites, people playing Frisbee with their dogs and each other, and a whole eating area decked with colorful picnic table covers surrounded with trees. It was ideal to spend some quality time with friends. The scene was perfect for that afternoon. It was exactly where I wanted to be.

Kids Backpack

angel on Feb-27-2012

I have this little niece that’s so cute and adorable and she’s starting school real soon. I took her shopping with me the other day, though I could buy her some school supplies and I promised her I would buy her a cute little backpack to bring to school. She was so excited. When we arrived at the mall, she zeroed in on an expensive backpack. I looked at her pretty little face lighting up when she pointed at the bag and said it’s the one she wanted. Well, how could I resist that angelic face? So I bought the bag, and I also got a little tip from the saleslady: be sure to have your kids backpacks personalized to make it even more special.

Trailer Hitch

angel on Feb-24-2012

I added something new to my vocabulary stash today. That thing is called, trailer hitch. I’ve never used this noun before, but when I heard it, I had some idea what it means. Okay, well not really the exact meaning, but at least an idea. LOL. I looked it up in Google and it said that it’s some kind of device or accessory that is used to attach a trailer for towing. Apparently, it’s the one used if you want to tow a trailer or if you want to attach it to a car. Well, now I know. At least now when somebody mentions it to me, I’ll understand.

Teleconferencing

angel on Feb-23-2012

I attended a job interview this week, and I gotta say it was one of the most unique interviews I’ve ever had. First of, it was through teleconferencing so that’s a first for me too. They asked me to make the interviewer laugh by telling a joke or telling a funny story. I’ve never in my life been asked to tell a joke, so I didn’t have any up my sleeves. So I just came up with a lame one and as expected, the interviewer didn’t laugh. Then after, he made me sing. So I belted out a chorus of a song. To make the long story short, I didn’t pass the interview. Talk about bizarre.

Mail Protection

angel on Feb-21-2012

Nowadays, people write to each other through email and chat. Whatever happened to snail mail? Well, I guess some people still choose to write via the post office. Although I love to write, and I do support snail mail, but I’ve heard of things like letters being opened and mails getting lost in the post office. Maybe that’s why some people are not so fond of mailing letters. It’s a good thing there are poly mailers now to protect our letters. What makes them great is that they’re made of polyethylene, which doesn’t tear easily, making it the perfect material for shipping. It gives that sense of security especially for important documents and letters.
