Applying For Insurance?

angel on Mar-14-2010

If you’re looking for a good insurance company, do check out the term life insurance rates at Wholesale Insurance if you have time. I haven’t particularly tried them, but I’m just giving you guys suggestions. I mean, ultimately, you’re still the boss, right? Just a reminder, always review each policy and insurance claims many times before actually signing something. And don’t let yourself be sweet talked by anyone. Look into the insurance terms yourself and don’t let anyone else force you. After all, it is your hard earned money that will pay for it. I actually learned this the hard way. I signed something without thinking it over carefully, so I ended up going through a long and tedious process of cancellation. Don’t let this happen to you. If you’re looking for insurance, do your research and pick a good one! Good luck!

Spa Business

angel on Mar-12-2010

My friend’s mom is getting in the spa business and my friend was telling me all about it one day. She said that she’s been convincing her to invest in a business, and finally she relented. She chose the spa business because spas are really in demand nowadays. After all, people are increasingly being aware of its benefits. Stress is part of everyday life, and people are always constantly finding ways to de-stress and relax, especially after a long week of work. And spas are a great way to wind down, and pamper ourselves. That’s why spas are becoming more popular. So anyway, my friend said that her mom’s business is really beginning to materialize. Just the other day, she accompanied her mom to buy necessities for the business. Stuff like towels, massage oils, aromatherapy products, the works. They also brough an epson receipt printer for the cashier, furniture for the spa center, and more. All I know is, I’ll definitely be asking for discount when it opens. :)

I Want To Travel!

angel on Mar-7-2010

I love to travel. What I love most about travel is that, you not only get to see new places, but you also get to know new cultures and new ways of living. It’s really eye opening to be able to experience different cultures and different practices. Living in a small town my whole life, I’ve come to a point where I’m so bored and I’m so sick of the monotony here. I feel like there’s so much more out there to see and explore! There are concerts to see, different foreign dishes to taste, entertainment centers to visit, meet a lot of new races, see places I haven’t seen yet (or I’ve only seen in pictures), and a whole lot more! Travel really is inspiring to me. If only I have the funds to do it, I would have done it already. I’m still waiting for that miracle that will allow me to fulfill my dream of traveling. Do you guys have any suggestion on how I can work and travel?

Thai Malling

angel on Mar-2-2010

I went to Bangkok 2nd week of February, and it was my first time there, so I was really excited to see the city! We went to the mall first and foremost. You would think that if it’s your first time in a new country you would avoid the mall and go straight to the tourist spots, right?  But no, we went straight to the mall. Haha. We bought snacks in the supermarket, they gave us these pretty promotional bags (which I would always keep) and also we were able to have VAT refund! Now that’s great! Then we ate in one of the restaurants inside the mall. We wanted to taste some authentic Thai cuisine. I love Thai dishes. They’re spicy, the way I like it. Then after eating, we strolled around the mall. I saw many beautiful Thai ladies and handsome Thai men! It was really a nice day in the mall. At least we got to see how Thai malls are like.

Spicy Foods

angel on Feb-24-2010

I love spicy foods! I love spicy foods so much, you’d think I should live in Thailand or Korea or India. Haha. I don’t know what it is about spicy foods, but I really love the taste! It brings so much flavor and fun to a certain dish. It’s my favorite spice actually. It gives that distinct taste that you won’t soon forget. But I heard that consuming too much will cause you to have hemorrhoids. How true is that? I haven’t proven this one way or the other, but I heard that these types of food in some cases aggravate the condition. I don’t even know the cure for hemorrhoids but I heard this is one of the main causes. Although I’m a little worried that this is true, I still can’t stop eating hot and spicy dishes! It’s just too good! I hope I stay healthy even though I eat too much of this stuff.

Joint Pains

angel on Feb-22-2010

Do you guys know of an effective joint pain relief that you can recommend? Coz I have this friend who’s always complaining about her joints hurting. I told her to get it checked over by the doctor but she refuses to go. She swears it’s no big deal, just your normal everyday pain. She’s into bicycling by the way, and she cycles everyday. I bet it’s from the wear and tear. She takes in some pain reliever but it’s not helping her. The pain still comes back. I’m afraid it’s serious, and I don’t know how to convince her to get help. Do you guys think it’s normal to feel joint pains when you’re 27? I mean, don’t joint pains usually come with old age? Am I missing something here? If you guys have any idea at all, please do tell. Or if you can suggest an over the counter relief for this kind of pain, maybe you could help her.

With Old Age

angel on Feb-21-2010

My grandmother has arthritis. We give her arthritis pain treatment and subject her to regular checkups, but these are just for alleviation of the pain. Of course, we can’t avoid old age. It’s inevitable. And with old age comes a myriad of ailments that are associated with decreased bodily functions. Such as our bones, joints, ligaments. After all the years that we spent in this world, our bones are bound to take the toll. We can take vitamins, we can be very careful of our health, but let’s face it. There will come a time, when our body will deteriorate. That’s just the way it goes. Of course, for those who are healthy, and have done what they can to protect their bodies, they won’t have as much problems compared to those who abused their bodies when they were young. So we can still do something. Prevention is better than cure, right?
