Have you heard of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags? Apparently, these tags are smart bar codes that makes errands like buying from the supermarket convenient and easy, no more waiting in lines. These codes can talk to a networked system and then track every product you put in your shopping cart. Isn’t that great and easy? But with lots of technology, there’s also a downside. Credit cards have rfid chips as well, so bad guys and thieves can actually commit electronic pickpocketing, meaning they can scan your credit cards and steal your money. Scary, right? But thankfully there are rfid blocking products out there as well to protect us.

Of all the musical instruments, I’ve always been fascinated by guitars. I’m not good at playing them, mind you, but I sure love listening to others play. I have this friend who collects guitars, so you can just imagine my excitement when he showed me his collection one day. My favorite among his guitars was the ibanez s520. It looked really cool with a sleek finish. He played it for me, of course, and I gotta say the sound is absolutely fantastic. It has a warm tone to it that just melts my senses away. It’s electrifying and beautiful. I could listen to it all day. It definitely takes music to another level.

It’s the birthday of my niece next week! This would be so much fun! I’m thinking of baking her a cake, but it’s really not going to be good because I haven’t mastered baking yet. So I thought I would just buy her one. I saw this online store that sells birthday cakes from $29.99 and they look really good! I will buy a cookie cake for my darling niece because she’s a cute little thing and it suits her. She’s turning 3 years old by the way, and I know she’s going to love my cake. Can’t wait to give it to her and receive a hug and kiss in return!

I visited this cute little cottage this weekend and I fell absolutely in love with it. The moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was transported back into the yesteryears. Inside was full of rustic furniture that were made so exquisitely, I could even smell the freshness of the logs used. There was also this quaint fireplace that was really beautiful and the crackling flames completed the whole setting. I wish I could have a house like that in the woods. It’s so comforting and the whole interior makes me feel nostalgic, which is a good thing.

Getting a motorhome is great, you get to live and travel at the same time. I’ve always wanted one of my own, given that I love to travel, I love to drive, and imagine being able to do that anywhere and sleep in my own car too! But of course, owning a motorhome doesn’t just end there. One of the most important things you need to get is a motorhome insurance. With all the carnapping around, it’s easy for your motorhome to be a target. You don’t want to lose your home to these crooks right? I don’t think so.

Who of you guys ride motorcycles? I saw these group of riders the other day, I was at the park and a whole group of them drove past us. They all wore scorpion helmets and were all looking so cool that I can’t help but stare. I actually like looking at these people, I’ve never tried to ride a motorcycle (I’m too scared to try) so seeing them kinda sparks my interest. Let’s just say I’m just living vicariously through them. Who among you guys like to ride motorcycles?

For the holidays, I really want to go on a disney world vacation with my family. It’s always been my dream to go to Disney World. It’s like a magical place that will bring out the child in me. I love Disney films, and I love the fantasy world of the characters whom I grown to love ever since I was a kid. Like Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Ariel in Little Mermaid, Jasmine in Aladdin, and a lot more! It would be amazing seeing all of them come to life. And I’m also excited to try the rides and see the shows.

I never really go to auto repair shops, first of all, I don’t have a car. Second of all, I really have no business going to one. LOL. But I have a friend who owns one and he invited me over to his shop one day. I saw a lot at once, car lifts, air compressors and various auto shop equipment all lying around. Of course, my friend gave me a mini tour and explained to me the function of each. I admit, I found it interesting and for car fanatics, this should all be fun. I like looking at car models, but I’m not really into the parts and all that. Haha. But I enjoyed the tour of my friend’s shop. Maybe when I have a car in the future, I’ll learn more.

I’ve always loved the country. I am a city gal, but once in a while, I love hanging out in the woods in a cottage, just away from the hustle bustle of the city. I once visited a small cottage in the woods, the minute I entered I was greeted with such a lovely sight. There were pots hanging on the walls, a beautiful fireplace, wooden chairs and rustic bedding, it was really full of charm and character. That’s what I like about rustic decor and old furniture. They are charming and magnetic all on their own.

My friend who lives in Austin, Texas just called me via Skype the other day. It’s been a while since we caught up with each other’s lives. At one point, she was showing me her allergies. There were red patches in her arms and legs. She told me she went to an austin allergist already, and she was on the process of healing. Her red arms kind of reminded me of my own allergies before. These things are really troublesome and itchy. At least we still get to update each other even with the not-so-good stuff. Video calling really is great, don’t you think?
