I gained a lot of weight in the past 6 months! I couldn’t really help myself, I’m so in love with food! I mean, they’re everywhere, how could you resist or ignore them? Even the best appetite suppressants wouldn’t be enough to curb my appetite. I think food is one of the best pleasures in life. I love trying all kinds of new dishes, as long as they’re not raw or exotic. Haha. I just wish I can eat all I want without getting fat.

So my friend has just gotten herself a new job, a new office, and a new desk to boot! One day, we were talking about getting her new name plates. One for her desk and one on her door. She wanted to get it nicely done with just the right design that she has in mind. She wanted to start everything at her new job perfectly, and it all starts on the name plate. LOL. I know, she’s really psyched about it. We’ve been tossing around a few designs from a few companies but she hasn’t decided on anything yet. Once she decides, her new job can start. Haha.

I was browsing around this new computer/media store in our mall, looking for something I could buy. I saw some monster hdmi cables and a wide array of hard disks and ipads. I also saw some colorful usb hard drives and laptops of all sizes! There were also some complicated stuff for home entertainment. Actually, they do have a lot to offer. And their prices are quite affordable. I decided to buy a DVD writer and a laptop bag. Yippee!

Recently, I’ve noticed a lot of girls wearing false eyelashes. I see so many of them being sold in beauty stores as well. Some women want to have long eyelashes so they resort to eye-lash growth products. I guess having long lashes make your eyes more defined and makes it bigger, giving that sultry, sexy look. Then they coat it with mascara and complete the look with eyeliner. It looks good on some women, but too much is not nice.

We watched an Indian rock band the other night. It wasn’t planned or anything. We were having dinner in a Thai restaurant when we heard the music coming from a nearby open stage. After we finished dinner, we decided to stick around a bit to listen to the band. The vocalist caught my eye instantly. He was really good looking and he had a great voice. I scanned some of the other members and the drummer was so awesome on his steel drums the he took my breath away. I’m glad we stayed.

My friend from work is going to get married this weekend and she’s super nervous and excited at the same time. She’s one of those hands-on brides who prepare their own wedding themselves, without the help of wedding planners. She came to me one day asking my opinion on what flowers to use. She wanted to order lilies and freesias.  I gave her my seal of approval and I also suggested that she include tulips. I’m excited to see how it would all turn out.
