Historical Park

Last week, we visited a park that held so much history it’s amazing. There were some cannons and underground tunnels that we were told were used in the war before. We also saw some statues and historical artifacts scattered all throughout the entire park. We also saw water pumps which were once used to deliver water to the city. It was really interesting to get to know a place like that and it’s a good thing they turned that place into a park. That way, the people can have their fill of both culture and leisure.

Stylish Hotel

It’s my cousin’s wedding today, so we get to sleep in this really classy hotel tonight. The minute we arrived at our room, we had some complimentary fruits and drinks. Scanning the room, I saw the bed and I gasped. If I’m not mistaken, these are matouk linens covering the bed! I can easily recognize the superb quality of the sheets. Utterly gorgeous and the bed was big and soft and oozing with comfort. There’s even a plasma TV to complete the whole ensemble. As I’m writing this, I’m munching on some fruits and enjoying the cool air conditioning. In a while, we’re going to go to church, so I’ll end this post here. It’s going to be a fun day.

Steamboat Buffet

Have you guys ever experience going on a steamboat? It’s not a boat that you ride on, mind you, it’s actually a buffet style type of eating where there’s a steaming hot pot placed at the center of the table and you help yourself to all kinds of seafood from prawns, squids, crabs, scallops, etc. You choose from a wide variety of seafood items and you cook them on the pot then eat to your heart’s content. I like it, but I prefer if they also have an electric grill or something for people to cook barbecue on because I love grilled seafood.
