One In 6 Billion

It’s hard when you’re struggling with weight issues. Other people say, you don’t need to lose weight, and yet other people say, you’ve gained so much weight, you need to lose some. Crazy, huh? There’s this friend of mine who’s obsessed with weight loss to the point where her weight would always be on a constant yo-yo. Meaning, she’ll lose 10 pounds, and then gain it back, then lose it again, and gain it back again. Of course, I told her this is not healthy. It would be healthier to lose that extra weight, and then just maintain it. But she said it’s too hard to maintain it. Like everything in life, all she needs is determination and discipline. Wouldn’t you agree?

My brother is complaining about hair fall. He told me he was combing his hair after shower today, and there was a lot of hair falling! He’s young, so why is he losing hair? Okay, I told him, no need to be melodramatic about it. I’m sure it’s just stress-related or has something to do with his lack of nutrients. Or maybe, it’s because his scalp doesn’t like his shampoo, or that his diet is out of whack. I’m no expert when it comes to hair, but I do know that when there’s something wrong with our skin, hair, or nails, that normally means there is some underlying cause. So I told him better to buy the best hair loss shampoo available out there, or consult a doctor, change his diet or something, or maybe just wait until it goes away. Which do you think is the best advice?
