Blind Date

My friend is trying to set me up with a guy. She told me we could do a blind date. Alright, I know I’m supposed to be at a point in my life where I should be getting out there and dating. I want to, but somehow I don’t know, I’m not expecting too much. Not to spoil it by entertaining negative thoughts, but I don’t think we’ll hit it off. I just don’t believe in blind dates. I believe in attraction at first sight, but never in blind dates. Oh well, I guess it couldn’t hurt, could it? I hope I’m not gonna meet an old man smoking cigars and an old fashioned pair of eyeglasses perched on his nose. At the very least, maybe I could find a new friend. I’ll cross my fingers and toes for that. Wish me luck!
As much as possible, don’t kiss on the first date. You don’t want to look too easy with the guy and if you like him, it’s also good to keep him hanging a bit especially if you feel that he’s got an eye on you too.
