Travel Insurance

angel on Nov-16-2009

If you love to travel, like me, you probably would want to know everything there is to know about travel, right? I’m no expert, and there are a lot of things I want to learn too. But one thing that you should always prioritize when it comes to travel, is insurance. You have to look around and find the suitable travel insurance quote to purchase. It may be a hassle to some, but it really is beneficial in the long run. I haven’t ventured into the travel insurance world yet, but once I’m able to travel, I will definitely be looking to buy one. Do you have any experience with this?

Life Insurance 101

angel on Nov-13-2009

Do you guys know how to obtain the best life insurance quotes in the market today? I’ve never tried applying for a life insurance, and I sure could learn a lot. It’s always good to be prepared right? And it’s also very wise that while we still have work and there’s a steady source of income, we might as well prepare for the future. Health is first and foremost, the number one priority. And then comes the family. We should also think about our families, so in the event that something happens to us, they will still be well cared for. Don’t you agree? I guess I’m going to brush up on some life insurance 101, so I am aware of the things involved.

Steam Cleaners

angel on Nov-12-2009

Do you guys know what a steam cleaner is? Well, it’s that extremely useful household appliance that is compact and lightweight, environmentally safe, and cleans your house efficiently! It also comes in an affordable price! It works by converting regular tap water into steam and cleans continuously for an hour. Pretty cool technology, huh? It is eco-friendly, efficient and just plain handy! It’s the new era’s top of the line cleaning system, so if you want to keep up with the times, then you’d probably want one in your own house. I know I want one!

Colon Cleansing

angel on Nov-12-2009

Have you guys ever tried having a colon cleanse even once in your life? I keep hearing that this is a good way to rid the body of toxin build up and purge the intestines from all the accumulated “bad stuff”. Some people are afraid to undergo colon cleansing because of the possible repercussions that might occur after. But a lot of health experts are giving their thumbs up to this method. And doctors are even recommending it to their patients and urging people to do especially if they’re having colon problems. What do you think? Is it really a helpful solution?

Christmas Is Just Around The Corner

angel on Nov-11-2009

Christmas is fast approaching! My favorite time of the year! What preparations have you done? I really love the Christmas feel every time November and December rolls around. The air is a bit chilly, you can see houses being decorated with Christmas lights, you see Christmas trees in a lot of houses, people starting to listen to Christmas songs to get in a Christmassy mood. It’s a time of giving, and a time with family. Do you guys give out holiday cards and gifts every Christmas? It’s kind of old fashioned but this tradition is still being followed diligently. After all, it’s the thought that really counts. Let’s all welcome this year’s Christmas with peaceful hearts!

Under His Wings

angel on Nov-11-2009

under_his_wings.jpgAn article in National Geographic several years ago provided a penetrating picture of God’s wings.

After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park, forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno’s damage. One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother’s wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise.

She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies. When the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast. Because she had been willing to die, those under the cover of her wings would live.

Equestrian Apparel

angel on Nov-11-2009

I’ve always admired equestrian apparel. They look so cool! I have much respect for equestrians because horse back riding is not an easy sport. Like any other sport, it’s risky, because an animal is involved. You never know when a horse is going to get wild and throw you off its back! But even though it’s a risky sport, it’s also an impressive sport. I especially love seeing the riders’ clothes. They look so sporty and elegant. I wish I could wear something like that too. They just exude a certain charisma that’s quite impressive.  I love surfing through a lot of equestrian stores which offer beautiful apparel online.

Technical Stuff

angel on Nov-10-2009

Have you guys seen those barcode scanners at the groceries and department stores? Ever wondered how they work? Apparently, these electronic devices scans barcodes in products using a light source, a lens and a light sensor. This is responsible for translating optical impulses into electrical ones. I’m not really a techie and I’m not well versed in technical stuff, but I am fascinated with how things work. I sometimes try to dismantle stuff in my head and try to figure out how they work. Sometimes I also look up the most interesting stuff in the Net just to have some kind of idea how they work. Aren’t we all glad there are brilliant inventors in the world? They certainly make things a lot easier for all of us.
