Ever wondered what your wedding day would be like? Imagine yourself wearing a nice long wedding gown, holding a bouquet of fresh flowers, marching slowly down the aisle… you look ahead and you see the guy you love, wearing a nice tuxedo shirt, looking at you, waiting for you at the altar. Sigh. I’m sure a lot of you ladies  daydream about that day at least once. After all, the wedding day is the most important day in your life right? I guess there will always be that Cinderella complex with girls, whether we admit it or not. Haha.

There’s just something about Price Pfister faucets that I like. Their designs are so stylish and elegant. I know faucets are just minor fixtures for some people, but for some reason, I like beautifully designed faucets. If a certain house has a faucet that gets my attention, then that’s really something. Faucets add elegance to a house, and their form and style really makes them stand out. So if you’re installing a faucet, install an aesthetically good one. Your house guests will definitely admire it.

Do you believe that there are no accidents in life? Everything happens for a reason. Every people we meet will have a role in our lives, be it small or big. Some will hurt, betray and make us cry to become stronger. Some will teach us lessons, not to change us, but for us to realize our mistakes and to help us grow and make us the best person we can be.  And some would simply inspire and love us to make us happy, whole and complete.

I was watching MTV’s Pimp My Ride just a few minutes ago. I’m really impressed with this show. I enjoy watching them rip apart a piece of junk car, and transform it into something amazing. I’ve seen out-of-this world additions to the car, grand sound systems, crazy high tech car accessories, beautiful billet grilles, and superb paint jobs and interiors. They tailor the car according to the personality of the owner too. They do really fabulous work in my opinion. If you get chosen in the show, you’ll have a car that will be the envy of all your friends!

You probably already know that I love SS501 right? Well, of all the 5 members, my favorite is their leader, Kim Hyun Joong. He’s just so talented, not to mention perfectly good looking! I can’t imagine I would be idolizing Koreans, but there’s just something about Hyun Joong, and SS501 for that matter, that’s so appealing to me. Maybe it’s their bond as a group, and their individual personalities, and their striking good looks… hehe. But they’re just so adorable they make me laugh and they make me feel like a kid again. Anyway, if you can’t relate to this post, I don’t mean to ramble. LOL.

There’s this home theater system that I really love, it’s so beautiful! It has really thin speakers that you can install almost anywhere in your home, and it has superb sounds! When watching a movie, you’ll feel as if you’re in the heart of it all. As if the movie is unfolding around you. That’s the beauty of surround sound. I love movies, and I want to have that feeling whenever I’m watching. It doubles, triples, magnifies your viewing experience. I so would love to buy that system, maybe someday when I already have a house of my own. But for now, I can just appreciate and drool over this hot piece of technology. Sigh.

I’ve never really been a fan of pageants, to tell you the truth. But with Miss Universe, there’s just something about it that’s so regal and elegant that I can’t help but watch, in spite of myself.

Miss Universe 2009 deserves all the hype that it’s generating because it really is an exciting event. Think of beautiful ladies with fabulous figures, strutting their stuff up on stage. Add to that the Evening Gown competition, where you get to see the ladies wearing elegant evening wears with backless and strapless numbers. And of course, the swimsuit competition which I’m sure is every guy’s favorite part of the pageant. What more can you ask for, right?

Personally, my favorite part is the interview portion, which is not only the most nerve-wracking, but also the most interesting portion of all. I love to see beautiful ladies speak up and prove that they can “think under pressure”. For me, that’s the best measure of all, BRAINS. If a lady is beautiful and sexy, but doesn’t have brains, she doesn’t deserve to win Miss Universe, in my opinion. And the question and answer portion is the final factor that will determine who will win the competition. Will they be able to answer the question sensibly? Will they maintain their poise and be able to do some quick thinking? Or will they succumb to the pressure and black out and mumble only a few words that are millions of light years away from the question? I enjoy watching pretty, well-poised ladies tremble and stutter during the interview portion. We all know how difficult it is to string a few sensible words when you know that the whole world is hanging on to every word you say, right? But some are able to pull it off, some even answer with flying colors. That’s always interesting for me to watch.

For Miss Universe 2009, eighty four ladies are going to represent their own countries as they compete for the prestigious title and be crowned the 58th Miss Universe. On August 23, Dayana Mendoza will be crowning her successor.

Not usually a pageant lover myself, I do enjoy the excitement that Miss Universe brings. I’m definitely watching Miss Universe 2009. Don’t forget to watch too! Don’t miss all the excitement.
