A friend of mine in the US called me up one night and talked about this boy she had been seeing for the past 2 weeks now. She filled me in on their latest date and as usual, as the good friend that I am, I listened patiently. Apparently, the guy was able to score 2 New York Yankees tickets and he was taking my friend to see the game. Although she’s not really a fan of football, she agreed of course. You know how it is when we like someone, we tend to pretend we like something they like right? And although initially, we don’t really “get” it, sometimes we’ll also realize that it’s not bad after all. And after some time, we even actually learn to like it too. How many of you guys actually know what I’m talking about here?
