With the advances in technology today in virtually all kinds of fields, it’s no wonder what we humans can achieve. In the medical field, there’s DNA testing, artificial insemination, even cloning! I mean, imagine creating a replica of a human being! With these advances in medicine, they say they can even cure cancer now, right? To think that years ago, it’s an incurable disease. Scientists and medical inventors are always coming up with new ways to impress the world, and some of them are really mind-blowing. What’s next on this seemingly endless quest for knowledge and technology? Only time can tell…
Well, I don’t think cancer can be completely written off yet. They’re at the point where there are stages it can be fought into remission, and certainly the percentage of people who get it and still live a long time are higher than years past, but I wouldn’t say its completely a cured thing now. There are still many who die from it, so while science and the advances they make are amazing and great, I think we still have a long way to go and many more hurdles to overcome.
