Online Job Search Portal

online-search.jpgIt’s difficult to get a decent, good paying job these days. Although I feel lucky that I’m employed, I can’t help but wonder if this job that I’m currently in, is the right one for me. Sometimes I would check job sites online and try to see if there are career opportunities that might interest me. I came across this job site that serves as a search portal for Philadelphia jobs. One opportunity called out to me, but the problem is, I’m not from the Philadelphia area. I browsed the site anyway, and I found other jobs that I could really see myself doing. They have a useful search tool to help job seekers find targeted jobs easily. If you guys are from that area, or are seriously thinking of moving there, I invite you to check their website out.

Fun Birthday Party

I love kids, they’re awesome. That’s why when my aunt asked me to organize her son’s 5th birthday party, I didn’t hesitate, I said yes. It was a fun event to organize, I handled everything, like deciding on the venue, the food, the games, and of course, the door prizes. Everything went smoothly, we decided to have the party at their house, they have this huge garden and patio at the back that is just perfect for the little kids. We had the food catered by a local restaurant, and the games, well… let’s just say that at the end of the day, the kids were jumping up and down screaming for more.

For the door prizes, I wanted to get something useful and fun, but also lasting. I didn’t want to give out candies or chocolates, because the children will just eat them and that’s it, they’re gone. I wanted the kids to have something that they can take home with them. I had this great idea of buying wholesale toys. So I went to our local department store, and I bought a whole box of assorted toys. There were toys for girls, for boys, action figures, dolls and puzzles, there was something for everyone. And best of all, they’re not expensive, and they definitely served their purpose.

The kids loved their prizes, in fact, they were so thrilled that they were enthusiastically participating in all the games so they would win and get themselves a cool toy. Even the parents said that the toys were a good idea and that they made the whole party even more exciting.

All in all, it was a fun birthday party, and not only the kids enjoyed but the parents as well. Just seeing the huge smiles in the children’s faces made the whole thing special and rewarding for me.
