Falling In Love For The First Time
Do you remember what it was like the very first time you fell in love?
When for the first time in your life, you see someone and your heart starts pounding really fast, you feel butterflies fluttering around in your stomach, excitement suddenly grips you, and you feel like your falling headfirst into the unknown? If you’ve experienced falling in love, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, you will, when the right time comes, so just stay with me here.
The very first time people fall in love, it’s kinda different from the second time, or the third time, or even the tenth time… after all, it is the FIRST time. All these intense emotions start pouring in, and they’re all new to you, and it can be overwhelming. But hey, it’s all good. Because really, falling in love is a great feeling! It’s like a drug that makes you high. It creates a positive aura around you that people surrounding you can’t help but notice.
Remembering the first time I fell in love, I remember all too well the heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping, near-hyperventilating, sweaty palms… okay, okay, I’ll stop there. In my case, I didn’t expect to fall in love. It just happened. I guess I’ve learned by now that life has its own way of springing things at me at a time when I least expect it. And falling in love for the first time was no exception.
I won’t go into detail, like who, how, where, when… just that it was such a great rush for me. Of course, back then it was just attraction for me. I couldn’t really say that I already “loved” that person the first time I saw him. It was just that I was very attracted to him, and I guess that’s what causes that “falling in love” feeling.
Most of you reading this blog may already have experienced falling in love. And perhaps it’s a different case for everybody, but we all definitely go through the same symptoms, and feelings, and reactions. And I think everyone will agree with me when I say that falling in love for the first time, is really an amazing feeling.
What do you remember about falling in love for the first time?

This is a very insightful post. It really made me think and gave me several ideas that I’ll be writing about and posting on my website soon. Definitely bookmarking your website and checking in for new content. Thanks and keep it up!
When I fell in love for the first time, I was probably the happiest I’ve ever been. When we broke up 2 years later, I was devestated beyond belief, and I was screwed up for years… even though I dated and even was involved in several longterm relations in which I fell in love with my partner, I always thought my heart would always be forever broken just a little bit, perhaps with the broken pieces glued back on…
Then, a decade later, I met a woman that made me feel like I felt 12 years ago when I was 16. I forgot about that feeling, and I certainly never expected that I would get to experience it again. And finally, a decade later, I fully forgive my first love for the devastation I took years to get rid of. In fact, all things considered, I think those years of agony were worth it, because that feeling of falling in love for the first time was so intense and wonderful and exciting that will make it forever a highlight of my life.
So yeah, falling in love for the first time is simply blissful. And if you ever find someone that helps you remember what that felt like, you know you’ve found a keeper.
