Reverse Life Cycle

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death. What’s that, a bonus?

I think the life cycle is all backwards.

You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch, you got to work. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating…you finish off as a gleam.

I forgot who said that statement that “Every step in life in step towards death”. Life is unfair because in the end of the road, death awaits us. Sometimes, I don’t know the meaning of to be born to then later die.

Does cycling life backwards help? Would one like to do that?

Personnally, I don’t. Though the way it is put looks nice. But I don’t think I like to go backwards becoming weak to strong, intelligent to innocent, tall to small and making totally the opposite of things you do.

Time of one’s childhood is probably the favorite period in one’s life. By that I mean, no worry, no work and if time can stop right there, you will be not growing and be mostly in good health. You will not get old so that you won’t die.

But it is not what it is and we should not have much negative thoughts about life but only to know that to try to live or survive long enough to spend more time with loved ones, to help them to love life as we try ourselves to do because you never know how long your journey in life ends because you can not predict what happens to you.

The other day I was almost hit by a truck I did not see it coming but the sudden hard brake I put on my car had it stop just on time as if God was there to prevent car collision and for few seconds, I was saying to myself that truck is going to hit me and I could not do anything to prevent it than let fate decide.

Things like this surely happen when you don’t expect it. Just it does not happen because your time is not up.

Life is unfair when you don’t expect it as the brother of a dear friend of mine passed on 5 months ago. Thinking back those sad days, it reminds me how unfair and cruel life is specially when strong hopes are in full swing that he will recover from heart surgery but God had decided he can no longer stay and had to leave suddenly loved ones behind.

I think the flow of life from birth to death is probably the most natural way as we receive it as gift. It just a matter to accept and deal with it knowing that you have loved ones beside you to make the journey less painful.

Yes, life is truly unfair when it ends.
